In Florida, on July 1, a new law, SB 1718/Chapter No. 2023-40, came into effect. Among other things, it would require employers to use E-Verify and penalize those who transport illegals into Florida. Unsurprisingly, this law is under attack from the usual suspects, including of course the government of Mexico, which openly opposes it. As usual, Mexico openly meddles with no repercussions.
